SkillsBase Attends the UCC Final Year Showcase

We were delighted to be on-site at University College Cork at the final-year project showcase today. This showcase was for the BSc in Computer Science, Data Science and Analytics and BA in Digital Humanities. As the home university for many of us at SkillsBase, we are always thrilled to be invited back.

The quality of the projects was excellent. We were honoured to be awarded on the day for “Best use of Mobile-App Technology in a Final Year Project”.

We are delighted to announce that the winner was Paul Caffrey. His project titled “A Location-Aware Guidance App for Tradeshows”, supervised by Prof. Cormac Sreenan, created a unique experience on the day that all visitors could try out. Significant technical challenges needed to be overcome. The number of hours spent polishing the project proved that he went the extra mile.

We are fortunate with our partnership with University College Cork, where we have a pool of consistently high-quality graduates to choose from.
